Hello and welcome to the fourth day of our Raise the Hoof Christmas Event!

From December 1st to December 12th you'll be given a task to do, related to those often under-appreciated Christmas heroes—Santa's Reindeer! Complete the task of the day and have a chance to win a special prize. If you missed the first day's task, please click HERE to participate. For Day Two, click HERE and for Day Three, click HERE.

While the last day of the event is December 12th, don't worry if you're too busy during the first half of December to participate as you will have until January 4th, 2019 to complete all the tasks.

Hello and welcome to the midway point of our current challenge. Here is a refresher of what the theme is all about:

Games of Thrones fans will know that the expression, "Winter is Coming", is loaded with meaning. While the title for this challenge may have been inspired by the massive fantasy hit, the similarities stop there. This month we simply want to see a creation that reflects the winter season ahead (well, for  North America and other locations in the northern hemisphere at least). Before we know it, the temperatures are going to drop significantly. Where I live, they've already started to drop as the last couple days have hovered around the 0 Celsius mark. Soon, the ground will have a layer of snow on it. Warmer clothes are coming out and opportunities for winter sporting activities such as skating, hockey, sledding, skiing and snowboarding will soon be here. Whether you are one to take advantage of the cooler temps and have some outdoor fun, or you'd prefer to be curled up reading a book by the fire sipping on your hot cocoa, there is no denying that Winter is Coming. So this challenge, show us a project that reflects winter in all its magnificent glory.  

There are still two weeks left in the challenge and we hope that you will be able to join us here on our spot in blog-land. We have had just seven entries so far this month so we'd really love to see some more of you join in!

Hello everyone! Welcome to the Scribbles Designs Challenge blog. Whether you are new or one of our regulars, we are so thankful that you are here with us on our little spot in blogland. It is the 15th of the month and that means it is time for our next challenge to get started! Our theme this month is Embossing (Wet or Dry) and here is what you need to know to join us...

Isn't it amazing how just a little bit of texture can enhance a design? Even something subtle can help make your project go from flat to eye popping in a matter of moments. Keep in mind that texture isn't only pleasing for the eyes, it also enhances our sense of touch as well. The more senses we engage, the more stimulated we become.

That is why for this challenge we want you to add some texture to your project in the form of embossing. You can choose wet or dry embossing--it is totally up to you. Now if you don't have any equipment to emboss, it is okay to use pre-embossed papers. As long as there is embossing of some nature on your project, it will qualify for this challenge. Now if it's hard to see your embossing in the photo, we ask that you please be sure to make a note somewhere in your post. If it is easier, you could simply let us know what is embossed in a sentence next to the link up for this challenge at the bottom of your post. It is time for you all to impress us with your creations!
