Blogiversary Bash Extravaganza Winner Announcement

Hey everyone.  It is LISA here to let you all know who the winners were in our Blogiversary Bash Extravaganza Treasure Hunt that took place from January 6th to the 14th along with the special Puzzle Pondering that I posted on the 15th.

The Celebration Isn't Over!

Well guys, I hope that you enjoyed today's post of the new challenge.  It has been a fun week and a half leading up to the big reveal today.  My fellow teammies have outdone themselves with their creations.  So much sparkle everywhere!

To help us celebrate our very first year in business over here at the Scribbles Designs Challenge Blog, we've got one more fun event planned.  It was exactly a year ago today that this this marvelous challenge blog started and with your help, we've been growing ever since!  That is why we want to give you the opportunity to earn some more goodies.

 Want a chance to earn another free image?!

Below you will find a Scribbles Designs image that has been coloured in digitally.  You just have to let me know which image it is.  Of course it isn't going to be all that easy as I have made it into a puzzle that you will need to put together.

As you can see, the centre area gives you an idea of what the actual image is.  I have even left in a couple pieces for you.  Unfortunately though, those will be your only clues.  I did say it wasn't going to be easy, didn't I? Think of it as brain training the Scribbles Designs way.  Now some of you may be able to figure it out without printing it out, cutting the pieces out and trying to piece it together.  However you go about trying to determine the image, good luck!  Once you have an idea of the shape of the image you are looking for, you will need to head on over to the Scribbles Designs Store by clicking HERE and find out the name and/or number of the image by searching for it.

Once you figure it out.  Send an email to:
scribblesdesigns_winclaims {at} outlook {dot} com
 or by clicking HERE to bring up the address in your email program.

Please use, "SDC Puzzle Guess" in the subject line.  Remember, you will need to tell me the name and/or number of the image.  If you get it correct, I'll send you a copy of the digi.

But wait, there's more...

If someone goes as far as to figure out what is written on the image, Sandy has agreed to throw in a free sentiment.  How great is that?!

So, why not take some time to give your brain a workout AND increase your collection of Scribbles Designs images at the same time?!  Remember, when you have the answer(s), email your guess(es) to the address mentioned above.  Please DO NOT leave your guess in a comment.  You have until Friday night, January 17th at 11:59 p.m., to submit your guesses.  Image(s) will be mailed to those people who get the answer(s) correct, sometime this weekend and winners names will be posted on the weekend as well, when the names of the winners for the Treasure Hunt are posted.

Oops! Clue #8 Revision

It has been brought to my attention by one of our participant's that I can't count.  Well she didn't say that exactly, but she did point out I had made an error (which I completely appreciate).  So, just to make sure that I haven't baffled you completely, let's try this again.

Originally, clue #8 stated:

1. Go to the Scribbles Designs Store: http://buyscribblesdesigns.blogspot.ca/
2. In the labels section which you will find on the right hand of the page in the sidebar, click on Truck.
3. Scroll down until you see image #905.
4. Write down the name of this image.
5. Now, what is the last letter in the first word of the name? Take that letter and write it down. This is your eighth of nine letters. Just one more to go!

Apparently, when I put that clue together, I totally missed seeing the real last letter in the first word which is an 's'.  This is not the correct letter.  The clue should have read:

5.  What is the fifth letter in the first word. 

Sorry about that folks.  Hope I didn't mess anyone up too badly.  Thanks to Eagle Eyes Edwina for letting me know of my boo boo.  Edwina, I appreciate you taking the time to point this out to me so that I could print a revision.

By now clue # 9, the final clue is out and hopefully I've made no further mistakes.  Can't wait to see everyone's guesses and read all your comments.  Remember, simply leaving a comment on all the DT members' posts, along with submitting a guess, will earn you a freebie just for a little bit of your time.

Blogiversary Bash Extravaganza!

It's LISA here and I was wondering if you would like to embark on a little adventure with us over here at Scribble Designs?  Up for some fun and the opportunity to earn some goodies along the way?!  Well if your answer is 'YES', then keep reading...

On January 15th we will be celebrating our very first year in business over here on the Scribbles Designs Challenge Blog.  It has been a wonderful year and what better way to celebrate than to have a little fun. 

Each day over the next nine days you are going to have the chance to work through clues that will reveal nine different letters.  Each of these letters will come together to form a nine letter word that you need to figure out:

Clues will be released on each of the participating DT members' blogs to help you figure out what the word is.  You can see the full line up below.

When you receive a clue, you must go to the store and figure out what letter it is we are looking for.  Once you have filled in each blank, you will need to mail your answer to the address provided at the end of the treasure hunt.

Just to make sure you understand, I'm going to walk you through the process, which will give you your first letter.

1. Go to the Scribbles Designs Store:  http://buyscribblesdesigns.blogspot.ca/
2. In the labels section which you will find on the right hand of the page in the sidebar, click on Cats.  This will bring up all Sandy's great cat related images.
3. Scroll down until you see #402.
4. Write down the name of this image.
5. Now, what is the first letter in the name?  Take that letter and write it down.  This is your first of nine letters.

You will be provided with clues, including a visual clue to make sure you find the correct image, at each stop along the way.  To help you find the image you are looking for, here is a sneak peek of a project that SANDY created for our next challenge.  The full project will be shown on our actual blogiversary, January 15th.

Now to make sure that you did it correctly you should have found the image Catman. 

The first letter in the name is of course a 'C'.

You now have your first blank filled in.  So get ready to join us in our very first treasure hunt!   You will have until 11:59 pm on Thursday, January 16th, PST, to complete the treasure hunt and email me your answers.  We want to make sure that all of our readers have the chance to participate in our special Blogiversary Bash Extravaganza.

Prizes!!!

What is a Treasure Hunt without prizes?!  Everyone who gets the word correct will have a chance to win three images of their choice from the store.  The winner will be chosen randomly from among all correctly answered entries.  Additionally, everyone who participates by submitting a guess AND leaving a comment on every single blog participating in the Treasure Hunt, will receive a specially selected digital image from the store.  It will be mailed to each participant after we have verified that comments were left on each blog.
