Challenge #91 Midway: The Great Outdoors

Challenge #91

The Great Outdoors

Midway

Hello and welcome to the midway point of our current challenge. Here is a refresher of what we're looking for this time around:

*Include elements on your project that would be found in THE GREAT OUTDOORS. In other words, use items one would find in the woods, the wilderness or the wild as the focus of your card. For example, woodland animals, trees, wild flowers, anything camping related, etc.*

There are still two weeks left in the challenge and we hope that you will be able to join us here on our spot in blog-land. We have had just 12 entries so far this month so we'd really love to see some more of you join in!

Our incredibly talented women are back to showcase their amazing creative work featuring projects related to our The Great Outdoors theme. We hope that you will enjoy the Scribbles Designs images and the creative direction that ensues.

Any questions about the challenge? Please read our Challenge Rules located in the right sidebar.

We can't wait to see what you come up with!

Time for a backyard campfire!

As the fall sets in and the temperatures begin to drop, now would be the perfect opportunity to have a little campfire out in the backyard.  Of course, that is as long as you are legally able to do that in your area!  Wouldn't want to suggest something that could get anyone in trouble!!!

When you get that campfire all nice and toasty, how about grabbing a box of graham crackers, a bag of marshmallows (anyone know where I can find some gelatin free ones?), some yummy chocolate, round up a few twigs and make some scrumptious s'mores.

Of course, if you don't want to go to all that trouble, you could just go the digital route instead!  Sandy makes the process simple with her super duper s'mores smorgasbord digital package for one low price of $6.00.  In this one bundle you have all the accoutrements you need to create you own digital s'mores memories.

Check them out...

#923 S'Mores ($6.00) (includes all 5 images!)

Sandy even has a campfire to roast them over...

#818 Campfire

So why not head over to the store and grab them.  This way you'll be ready for the next cool October evening.

(Clicking on the above watermarks should take you to their location within the Scribbles Designs Store.)

So many digitals, so many possibilities!

Now that the days are getting cooler and the kids are back to school, I'm sure you are spending more time in the house during the day so why not take advantage of that time to get some extra crafting in.  You know you want to!  Your first stop should be the Scribbles Designs store so that you can load up on all the digital supplies you will need to help get all your projects completed.

Psst...you see the first chocolate bar up at the top of the post?  Well, it is currently a freebie.  However, it is only going to be around until later this evening so if you haven't already, make sure to stop by the current challenge post to grab this awesome image before it is gone.  Now since you guys are so awesome, I'll let you know that there are currently FOUR, yes you read that correctly, four free images over at the store, including an awareness ribbon that would be great in a number of the challenges going on right now with October being Breast Cancer Awareness month. You can click HERE to go to the store.   If you do grab these freebies, please leave Sandy some love and also know we'd love to see you create something with the images and enter into one of our challenges.  You still have until 9:00 p.m. PST tonight to enter the current challenge where the theme is Pens, Pencils, Paper. You can find out all the details you need for participating and for grabbing the chocolate bar freebie, by clicking HERE...AND be sure you come back on Tuesday to find out what the next challenge is going to be.  I'll give you a hint, although I probably shouldn't because it could get me fired but I am just so thankful that you have popped in to see me that I'll risk it.  So, the hint is that the next challenge is going to be centred around a colour.  Now you just have to guess what that colour will be!

If you are not yet a follower, now is the perfect time to become one. This way you won't miss out on learning about all the wonderful new images being added to the store, and re-meeting some of your favourites too!

Before I go, for those readers living in Canada, I would like to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving!  I hope that you have a fabulous day surrounded by all the people that you are most thankful for.

Until next time!
