Challenge #90: Flip-a-Coin

Challenge #90
Flip-a-Coin

Hello everyone! Welcome to the Scribbles Designs Challenge blog. Whether you are new or one of our regulars, we are so thankful that you are here with us on our little spot in blogland. It is the 15th of the month and that means it is time for our next challenge to get started! Our theme this month is Flip-a-Coin. It is a little bit more involved than our typical theme so be sure to read below so that you are aware of what you need to know to join us...

Flip-a-Coin Challenge
For this challenge, let the flip of a coin decide certain aspects of your card. Thanks to Beccy from Beccy’s Place for allowing me to use this ‘Flip-a-Coin’ idea that I saw over on her challenge blog.
Grab a coin and flip it. If it lands on ‘heads’, use the card ingredient listed in the first box under the title, ‘HEADS’. If it lands on ‘tails’, use the card ingredient listed in the first box under the title, ‘TAILS’.
Keep flipping the coin until you have selected items from each of the five rows, then create a card using the five ingredients you flipped for. Then be sure to let us know somewhere in your post, which ingredients you used.
FLIP
HEADS

Monthly Scribblers Showcase for December

Hello there folks! For those of you who celebrate, I hope that you are having a wonderful holiday this week.

I know that we just finished showing you 8 days of DT Creations inspired by different Christmas items, but the inspiration isn't over yet for this month! While I'm publishing this post a few days later than typical so it didn't interfere with our Christmas Inspiration Celebration, it is time for our monthly showcase. While our inspiration team didn't have to create anything extra this month, Janice managed to find some time to come up with an extra project. Diane Louise and Suze also have projects they showcased on their blogs earlier this month that they would like to share with our Scribbles readers as well.

So on that note, it is time to take a look at what these ladies have been up to...
This project has been previously been posted on Diane Louise's blog.
You can find it HERE.

Well, that is it for this Extra Inspiration post!

But Don't Forget...

If you haven't had a chance to participate at all yet, or simply have one or two tasks remaining to complete, you still have time to join in our Christmas Inspiration Event. While the event itself ran from December 15th until December 25th, you still have until January 5th, 2020, to complete all the tasks. Simply scroll back through the previous post for your chance win several different images, and the chance to win a special prize if you partake in all the days AND join in our challenge this month. You can find the first post of our event along with the link up for this month's challenge by clicking HERE. We hope that you will have the time to participate! Then, be sure to join us on Jan. 1, 2020, when we'll be back with the midway of our current challenge.

Wishing you a fabulous New Year and happy crafting until we meet again!

Challenge #70: Winter is Coming!

Challenge #70
Winter is Coming!

Hello everyone! Welcome to the Scribbles Designs Challenge blog. Whether you are new or one of our regulars, we are so thankful that you are here with us on our little spot in blogland. It is the 15th of the month and that means it is time for our next challenge to get started! Our theme this month is Winter is Coming and here is what you need to know to join us...

Games of Thrones fans will know that the expression, "Winter is Coming", is loaded with meaning. While the title for this challenge may have been inspired by the massive fantasy hit, the similarities stop there. This month we simply want to see a creation that reflects the winter season ahead (well, for  North America and other locations in the northern hemisphere at least). Before we know it, the temperatures are going to drop significantly. Where I live, they've already started to drop as the last couple days have hovered around the 0 Celsius mark. Soon, the ground will have a layer of snow on it. Warmer clothes are coming out and opportunities for winter sporting activities such as skating, hockey, sledding, skiing and snowboarding will soon be here. Whether you are one to take advantage of the cooler temps and have some outdoor fun, or you'd prefer to be curled up reading a book by the fire sipping on your hot cocoa, there is no denying that Winter is Coming. So this challenge, show us a project that reflects winter in all its magnificent glory.

Our incredibly talented women are here to share their inspiring creative work featuring projects related to our Winter is Coming theme. We hope that you will enjoy the Scribbles Designs images and the creative direction that ensues.

Any questions about the challenge? Please read our Challenge Rules located in the right sidebar.
