Each team member's creation has been inspired by something related to the holiday season. Nick is here today to continue our Christmas Inspiration Celebration with this awesome card inspired by her favourite Christmas character...
Nick chose Santa as her favourite Christmas character. Here is her reason:
" I picked Santa as my favorite Christmas character because I´m a true believer! I love the magic of Christmas and Santa is so important to make the holiday special. Also I collect Santas and I have 1097 different Santa ornaments. I tell you that I have to start early to get them all up in time... but it´s all worth it. In folktales here in Sweden we hear about a different Santa who lives at the farms. If you are nice to him and all the animals at the farm he will help you with all the heavy work, but if you do him wrong he might even kill your livestock to teach you a lesson so you better be good! He is dressed in grey instead of red so I decided to take him as a inspiration when I coloured this gorgeous Woodland Santa. "
Nick has used #872 Woodland Santa for her card.

My favourite character is the Christmas fairy . Mine sits on the top of the Christmas tree and is 53 years old . She comes out each year and looks as good as when she was made . (I wish that could be said of me !!!) There are some beautiful fairies to be had nowadays but I prefer my original , SHe is still working her magic !! Happy Christmas everyone .
ReplyDeleteFrosty is my favorite! I have always been partial to snowmen and I have a really nice collection of snowmen ornaments!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Nick and love the story with your card.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite character is my Rudolph, he's kind and loves everyone then helps Santa save Christmas for all the children of the world. Hugs, Lori m
Nick's Santa card is adorable! I wish she would share photos of her Santa collection, so fun! My favourite character is a toss-up - I love Frosty the Snowman (fond memories of watching the cartoon as a child - and adult!), and the Christmas Elf. We always had elves that watched us as kids - you never knew where they would turn up! I have an Elf now that hangs out with us, like Elf on the Shelf, and it has become such a fun tradition that we've done for the past 5 years.
ReplyDeleteI think I may have missed this one but not sure so if this is a repeat you can delete one. I can't think who I Might have said before but I'm going to say Mrs. Claus for this one. She has to be just as busy as Santa behind the scenes. Feeding Santa and all the elves has to be a huge job. And cleaning the North Pole is probably a 24 hour a day job. I wouldn't want to take that on. And she probably does tons of other things just like all housewives do. So lets give Mrs. Claus some credit and spotlight her for a change!
ReplyDeleteOk, another tough one, but I love the Christmas Elf who sits in my tree using his magic to report to Santa! My fav because at my house that poor little guy has a 24/7 job; no one works harder! Truth is, there are two elves at work in my house. One sits in the tree and the other sits on a fire truck!
