Challenge #57 Midway: Embossing (Wet or Dry)

Challenge #57

Embossing
(Wet or Dry)

Midway

Hello and welcome to the midway point of our current challenge. Just before we start, I have to sadly announce that this will be Sherry's last challenge with us. Life has gotten very busy for Sherry and as such she is unfortunately having to leave us. Sherry is such a special lady and both her wonderful personality and caring nature, along with her incredible talent, will most definitely be missed. I hope you will all join me in wishing Sherry the absolute best as she goes on to new adventures in her life!

Now, it is time to get back to our midway. Here is a refresher of what the theme is all about:

Isn't it amazing how just a little bit of texture can enhance a design? Even something subtle can help make your project go from flat to eye popping in a matter of moments. Keep in mind that texture isn't only pleasing for the eyes, it also enhances our sense of touch as well. The more senses we engage, the more stimulated we become.

That is why for this challenge we want you to add some texture to your project in the form of embossing. You can choose wet or dry embossing--it is totally up to you. Now if you don't have any equipment to emboss, it is okay to use pre-embossed papers. As long as there is embossing of some nature on your project, it will qualify for this challenge. Now if it's hard to see your embossing in the photo, we ask that you please be sure to make a note somewhere in your post. If it is easier, you could simply let us know what is embossed in a sentence next to the link up for this challenge at the bottom of your post. It is time for you all to impress us with your creations!

There are still two weeks left in the challenge and we hope that you will be able to join us here on our spot in blog-land. Unfortunately, we have not had any entries at all yet so hopefully one of you out there will be able to join us! The odds would certainly be good for winning the prize right now if you were to join in!

Our incredibly talented women are back to showcase their amazing creative work featuring projects related to our Embossing (Wet or Dry) theme. We hope that you will enjoy the Scribbles Designs images and the creative direction that ensues.

Challenge #56: The Power of Words

Challenge #56

The Power of Words

Hello everyone! Welcome to the Scribbles Designs Challenge blog. Whether you are new or one of our regulars, we are so thankful that you are here with us on our little spot in blogland. It is the 15th of the month and that means it is time for our next challenge to get started! Our theme this month is The Power of Words and here is what you need to know to join us...

Words truly can convey much in the way of expressing what is on our mind and in our hearts. Think back to a time when you received a personal penned note or a card that used just the right verse to express the thoughts of the sender. Remember how those words made you feel? Well, maybe it is time for you yourself to use words to express your own thoughts and feelings to someone special in your life.

Therefore, instead of making an image the focal point of your project for this challenge, we want you to instead use a sentiment or some word art to be the heart of your design. With so many beautifully scripted sentiments out there, we are sure you will find just the right words to convey, what it is you truly want to say.

Our incredibly talented women are here to share their inspiring creative work featuring projects related to The Power of Words theme. We hope that you will enjoy the Scribbles Designs images and the creative direction that ensues.

Any questions about the challenge? Please read our Challenge Rules located in the right sidebar.
