Current Challenge

Privacy Policy

Hello and welcome to the Scribbles Designs Challenge Blog. We are glad that you are here. There are certain things that you should be aware of if you continue to use this site.

As of May 25, 2018 EU GDPR data protection and privacy laws came into effect. This is all a bit confusing for bloggers struggling to be in compliance (us included). It isn't always evident if there is another third party somewhere behind the scenes sharing something we are unaware of. Please note that we are doing our very best to be in compliance with this law. The privacy of our visitors is of extreme importance to us. This document outlines our privacy guidelines. By using this site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Every month during the year, this blog has a challenge. If you wish to participate in these events you are agreeing to the following:
  • By entering your Personal Information (i.e. name, blogpost address, email address) into any type of link up on this blog, you are giving your consent to having your name and blogpost link visible to everyone who visits this site. While we also request that you submit your email address when adding a creation to our monthly link up (or possibly for another type of link up), this particular piece of Personal Information is kept private. It is only visible to Lisa D├ęcosse, the owner of the link up, or Sandy Sommerfeld, the owner of Scribbles Designs (see more on how your email address is used below).

Please note that there is an option to leave a comment anonymously should you not wish to share your personal information. However, doing so may limit certain features of this site. For ex., if we have a contest, draw or give-away and need to know where to send a particular prize to, if you are indeed a winner and have not provided a way to contact you, this will have an impact on your ability to receive the aforementioned prize.

Know as well that general Google Analytics data is captured on this blog, but there is no individual user personal data provided. That is to say we can see where visitors are coming from, what they look at, etc., but we do not know who they are individually.
