 inside of her card...

Petra chose All Hearts Come Home for Christmas by Sarah M. Eden as her favourite Christmas book. Here is her reason:
"The book represents what Christmas is for me: Spending precious time with the people you love. So each Christmas I go home to my parents and spend the day with them and my sister."

  1. My favorite Christmas book is a Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. I have to say, now I try watch every movie made around this story. Also, if you've never read "The Red Wings of Christmas" you should try it. It's beautifully illustrated and a wonderful children's book.

  2. My favorite Christmas Book(s) would have to be The Nutcracker and The Night Before Christmas, because they are both classic Christmas books that I read as a child ..

  3. I have a copy of 'Twas the night before Christmas ' Even reading it now reminds me of the magic of Christmas Eve and leaving food for Father Christmas and Rudolph .Waking up on Christmas day and feeling a lumpy stocking at the foot of the bed and knowing that HE has been. Now some children have a Christmas Eve box ,it is a book that should be included .

  4. My favorite is Twas the Night Before Christmas. I loved reading this book to my children and watching them as they tried to keep their eyes open. Usually they were sound asleep before we could finish the book. Next morning we read the book again and opened up our gifts.
Happy Holidays to all, hugs, Lori m

  6. My favorite book is How the Grinch Stole Christmas. It show how even the hardest heart can be warmed by the Christmas spirit. Another favorite is A Christmas Carol for the same reason.

  7. Since we have 3-year old twin grandchildren my favorite right now is Twas the Night Before Christmas. Love to read this story to the twins and get them excited about the holiday season. They love rhyming stories, in fact Arthur memorizes them and repeats them back.
