Scribbles Designs Challenge #38 - Freebie Friday Challenge

Scribbles Designs Challenge #38

Freebie Friday Challenge

This month will mark the 2nd year anniversary of the popular Freebie Friday on the Scribbles Design Challenge Blog.  Over the last two years Sam and Sandy and recently now Lisa, have hosted this special weekly post giving out approximately 105 freebies!!!  Of course that isn't including the freebies that Sandy generously gives out each month when a new challenge starts.  So, for this challenge we want you to create a project that includes a past Scribbles Designs Freebie Friday image. To find them all, simply check out the archives and look for the title 'Freebie Friday' each month.  Most tell you what the nature of the freebie is right in the title of the post.  For example, the post from last Friday is called "Freebie Friday:  Hugs Digi Paper".  You can also find past Freebie Friday images by clicking on Freebie Friday in the label section.  If you are new to the challenge blog this is a great opportunity to go through some past posts and start your Scribbles Designs stash.  We can't wait to see what you create but don't forget to tell us which past Freebie Friday image you have used somewhere in your post.

And we thank you for spending some time here on our spot in blog-land. We're excited to showcase our talented women & their incredible creative work.  We think that you will enjoy the Scribbles Designs images

and the creative direction that ensues.

Any questions about the challenge? Please read our Challenge Rules located in the right sidebar.

If you would like to purchase a Scribbles Designs image click here.

Sandy is happy to provide you with a freebie for participating...

Freebie Friday To Become Flash Friday

Hey folks! I'm popping in today to let you know of a change over here on the challenge blog.

Over the last few years you have become used to receiving a freebie every Friday. Right now there are over 129 posts labelled with the tag 'Freebie Friday' (though I do believe there are even more that haven't been labelled). That is a LOT of freebies to choose from and that number doesn't even include the images that have been given out for free at the start of each challenge. In fact, right now in the store, there are more than 240 freebies! As such, we have decided to do things a bit differently this year.

Freebie Friday is going to become Flash Freebie. Now, what does that mean? Well, instead of a regularly planned freebie, you'll now have to keep your eye on the blog because you just never know when a freebie might be offered. You might see two Flash Freebies in a month or you might have to wait two months for the next one!

However, don't fret! You will still definitely be getting at least one free image a month offered up during our challenge. That isn't going to change any time soon!

Now, since I told you all I would be back around the middle of January with the next Freebie Friday and that never happened, for today's offering you are actually going to get two freebies. Yes, you read that correctly--TWO. We are starting off our Freebie Friday turns Flash Freebie into a double bonus.

Just in time for Valentine's Day, I am offering up this fabulous lipstick image that Sandy created along with its coloured counterpart. Technically, I was supposed to give these out on two different occasions but you all have just been so patient with waiting for the freebie to return that I just couldn't help myself. Shhhhh......don't tell the boss!

#F 130 can also be found in the store by clicking HERE.

F 133 Lipstick Red (Free)

#F 133 can also be found in the store by clicking HERE.

***PLEASE NOTE:***
The image on the left is the jpg version and the one on the right is the
png version for both sets of images.

Psst...don't forget to left click on the image to bring it up full size in the light box before saving.

I even had some time to whip up a fun gift tag using the coloured version of this image. Check it out...

Sentiment: TLC Creations

If you'd like to check out the remaining details for my creation, I'd love for you to come and visit me on my personal blog. Unfortunately, it is supper time right now so I'll have to post it afterwards. I'll come back and link it as soon as I am done. You can find it HERE.

Well that is it for this one! I'll see you all again soon!

Until next time,

Freebie Friday: Featuring Guest AJ Bodine

Hello Scribblers....

Happy FRIDAY!!!

Are you ready for this weeks Freebie Friday image?!?!

And guess what???

Today we are having a Freebie Friday Feature Guest! (try saying that 10 times)

Before we move on and before I forget... here is this weeks Friday Freebie:

F 60 Lock Hearts

And here is our Freebie Friday Featured Guest!!

AJ

Hi, my name is AJ. I'm a wife and mom, living in North Carolina, but am originally from Wisconsin. I'm a lifelong sports fan, and there's almost no sport I don't enjoy watching, especially baseball.   I work from home part time, take care of my family and in my spare time, I fit in time to papercraft. Cardmaking mainly, but I do scrapbook here and there.  I also love working with concrete, I make garden art in the summer time.  I also love to sew, read, cook, garden and travel. That about sums up my life, now onto why I'm here...

I'm so excited to be guest designing for Scribbles first Freebie Feature Friday!  When I first saw this image, I knew immediately the colors I wanted to highlight it with.  Traditional reds and pinks, then throw in some kraft papers with gold accents.  I just had to make that super cute heart key sparkly and I'm so happy with the way it turned out.  I had a lot of fun creating this card, I hope you'll join me in playing around with this Scribbles Freebie Friday image, to see what you'll come up with!

Thank you AJ, for being our guest this week.  We really enjoyed your project thoroughly!!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Hugs.

Freebie Friday: Snowflakes Digi Paper

Hidey Ho to all our Freebie Fridayer fans! It is the end of the business week, and you know what that means--time for a new freebie!

While winter doesn't officially start until the 21st of December, it is already cold here where I live and we've had snow on the ground since last Thursday!  With all those snowflakes out there, I was inspired to create a digi paper to honour the winter season that will soon be upon us. Sandy originally offered up the snowflake image as a freebie in October 2015. I'm including the original freebie here in this post as well, just in case you are new to the blog and don't have it.

Today marks the start of a brand new challenge here at Scrbble Designs and the theme is, "How Does Your Garden Grow".  You can scroll down one post or click HERE to find the new challenge.

Scribbles Designs Challenge #40 A Little Note to BUG You

Scribbles Designs Challenge #40

A Little Note to BUG You

May flies, mosquitoes, and moths oh my!  The dreaded invasion of bugville will soon be upon us after their deep sleep during the winter months (well up here where some of us live anyway).   As the inevitable onslaught begins, we thought that this would be a good month to create a project featuring an insect of some sort.  Butterflies, bees and ants all come to mind but the choice is up to you.  However, please note that only cute bugs should apply--no creepy crawlers allowed!

And we thank you for spending some time here on our spot in blog-land. We're excited to showcase our talented women & their incredible creative work.  We think that you will enjoy the Scribbles Designs images

and the creative direction that ensues.
