Day Four Task:

• Below you will find a jpeg image that contains the lyrics for the song "Let It Snow". As you can see, there are a number of blanks in the song. For today's task we want you to create a 're-mix'. You can print off the image if you'd like and then fill in the blanks with some creative words to create your take on "Let It Snow". Then, simply scan your re-mixed version and email us a copy of it. If you prefer or don't have access to a scanner, you could just retype your version instead.
• PLEASE DO NOT fill in the blanks with the words of the original song. If you do, your entry will not count. We want you to get creative with this one and have some fun. However, please try to keep it clean as we will posting the winning versions on the blog. *Ü*
• The names of those people who submit responses completing today's task will be put into a draw for today's image. The Design Team will go through all the entries and choose their favourite three versions. Each of the three people chosen will receive a copy of today's featured image. Draw will be held on Jan 5th and the winner announcement for the entire celebration will be posted shortly thereafter.

This image is approx. 7 &1/2 by 11 inches. It should easily fit on a piece of photocopy paper but can always be resized smaller if necessary.

However, there are some other carols both popular and more obscure where bells are featured. Hello and welcome to the midway point of our current challenge. Here is a refresher of what the theme is all about:

Christmas will soon be here and with its approach we will be seeing more and more trees being hauled out and decorated. Did you know that the tradition of the first Christmas trees date all the way back to Germany in the 16th Century? It was a time when devout Christians started bringing decorated trees into their homes.

If you prefer real trees, tree lots will probably already be opened for business. If not, it is only a matter of days now I would think. Or, perhaps you are like me and prefer something in the artificial variety. Whatever your preference, you will have lots to choose from. So, in honour of this most tree-mendous time of year, this challenge we want to see at least one tree on your project, or even a group of them if you would prefer. Decorated to the nines or completely bare, it is totally up to you!

There are still two weeks left in the challenge and we hope that you will be able to join us here on our spot in blog-land. We have had ten wonderful entries so far this month but we'd love to see some more!

Our incredibly talented women are back to showcase their amazing creative work featuring projects related to our A Tree-mendous Time of Year theme. We hope that you will enjoy the Scribbles Designs images and the creative direction that ensues.
