Hello everyone! Welcome to the Scribbles Designs Challenge blog. Whether you are new or one of our regulars, we are so thankful that you are here with us on our little spot in blogland. It is the 15th of the month and that means it is time for our next challenge to get started! Here is what you need to know to join us this month...

I don't know about where you live, but boy, it is definitely cold where I am. Brrrrrr. Actually, a great deal of Canada, many of the States and other locales in the world are deep in the throes of winter at this point. Whether you love it or hate it, for many of us, there is no escaping the effects of the season--unless of course you decide to head to Australia, New Zealand, Africa or another place basking in the hot sun, just for a bit of a change!

To honour the brisk weather we are experiencing, it is time to create a project suitable for the winter season. So, this month, show us a project featuring snow and other winter related images as the main theme. To help you get through the next month or two just remember that five months from now you'll be wishing for this weather.

Freebie Friday To Become Flash Friday

Hey folks! I'm popping in today to let you know of a change over here on the challenge blog.

Over the last few years you have become used to receiving a freebie every Friday. Right now there are over 129 posts labelled with the tag 'Freebie Friday' (though I do believe there are even more that haven't been labelled). That is a LOT of freebies to choose from and that number doesn't even include the images that have been given out for free at the start of each challenge. In fact, right now in the store, there are more than 240 freebies! As such, we have decided to do things a bit differently this year.

Freebie Friday is going to become Flash Freebie. Now, what does that mean? Well, instead of a regularly planned freebie, you'll now have to keep your eye on the blog because you just never know when a freebie might be offered. You might see two Flash Freebies in a month or you might have to wait two months for the next one!

However, don't fret! You will still definitely be getting at least one free image a month offered up during our challenge. That isn't going to change any time soon!

Now, since I told you all I would be back around the middle of January with the next Freebie Friday and that never happened, for today's offering you are actually going to get two freebies. Yes, you read that correctly--TWO. We are starting off our Freebie Friday turns Flash Freebie into a double bonus.

Hello and welcome to the midway point of our current challenge. This month we're celebrating Scribbles Design's fourth birthday. We had a blog hop at the start of the month along with our regular challenge. To make this an extra special birthday, we've added some extra special prizes in addition to our regular ones.

Here is a refresher of what the theme is all about:
It is time to break out the party hats and light up the candles on the birthday cake. Get ready to hang some streamers and blow up a few balloons too as Scribbles Designs has just turned three!!! In honour of this wonderful occasion, this challenge we are celebrating birthdays. Yours, mine, a family member's, a friend's, or even an acquaintance's.
