Hello! I'm finally getting the chance to share the names of our Top Scribbler and Top Three from Challenge #109. We won't be having a Standout Scribbler this time around as only two entries used an image from Sandy. However, the individuals that used an SD image will still have a chance to win some images in the future as they'll be added to a draw for those times when we didn't have three entries using an SD image. 

We were pleased to see several of you join in Challenge #109. As always, the DT really enjoyed checking out all the incredible work that went into designing the projects entered. An extra special thank you to those who used a Scribbles Designs image! It is always great to see entries with Sandy's images. Don't forget, if you enter using a Scribbles Designs image, you receive two entries per project and there are no limit to how many you can enter. Additionally, you also have the chance of being chosen as our Standout Scribbler (during those challenges when at least three entries use an SD image, or have your name added to a draw down the road when there are less than three). If you don't have any Scribbles Designs images you can always use one of the 250+ freebies available in the STORE.

Also, it is important to let us know that you've used one of Sandy's images by adding SD after your name when you enter. As we had several entries this time around, I didn't have the opportunity to go and check them all out so if you did use one of Sandy's images and didn't add SD to your entry, then you'll have missed the opportunity to be entered into our draw. Something to keep in mind for future challenges.

Summer Break Reminder

Hello there folks! I'm just popping in with a reminder that we are taking a break from July 15th to August 14th. I mentioned it during some of the posts published in June but figured it would be best to remind everyone in a separate post as well.

Both our full time and part time teams deserve a nice little break and since it is summer right now in North America where this blog originates, many of our players may be taking some time off themselves to enjoy the summer; so, it is the perfect time for the team to do so as well. I am hopeful that you will all continue to support us when we return on August 15th for our next challenge. If you are waiting on the winner announcement for the May/June challenge, I hope to get to it very soon. Then, the results for the June/July challenge will be posted around August 25th if everything goes according to plan.

For the time being, I really hope that those of you living in the northern hemisphere are all enjoying your summer and for those of you in the southern hemisphere, I hope that your winter isn't too harsh. Whatever conditions you come up against, I hope that you are able to make the most out of them!

Hello and welcome to the midway point of our current challenge. Here is a refresher of what we're looking for this time around:

*Create a project using a MONOCHROMATIC COLOUR SCHEME. If you are not sure what that is, monochromatic is a colour scheme comprising of a SINGLE COLOUR USING DIFFERENT TONES of that one colour. Once you chose your base colour, choose different hues of that same colour, varying the saturation and tone of the base colour to pick out lighter and darker hues. Monochromatic example: shades of pink; shades of blue; shades of green; etc.*

There are still two weeks left in the challenge and we hope that you will be able to join us here on our spot in blog-land. We have had just eight entries so far this month so we'd really love to see some more of you join in!

Our incredibly talented women are back to showcase their amazing creative work featuring projects related to our Make it Monochrome theme. We hope that you will enjoy the Scribbles Designs images and the creative direction that ensues.
