 Not A Creature Was Stirring…Day 4

Hello folks!  Welcome to Day Four of our Not A Creature Was Stirring Christmas Celebration! From Dec. 16th to the 20th, I am showcasing creations from our Design Team.

During our event this year, we are paying homage to the many furry and feathered friends associated with the holiday season . As such, each team member's creation will feature one of Sandy's beloved animal or bird images. Diane Louise is is here today to continue our Celebration with this lovely card...

Complete today's task for a chance to win this image!

Today's Task:
  • Please leave us a comment letting us know the following:
    • We want to know what your favourite kind of WILD ANIMAL is. For this particular task we mean wild in the sense of an animal that lives in a forest or jungle or the wilderness of some kind, one that isn't (or at least shouldn't be) tamed, i.e., bear, cougar, fox, wolf, penguin, jaguar, moose, deer, etc.
The names of those people who submit responses completing today's task will be put into a draw for the image shown above. One random winner will be chosen to receive a copy of today's featured image. Draw will be held on Jan 14th and the winner announcement for the entire celebration will be posted soon thereafter [okay, as soon as I can manage it].

Well folks that is it for today's task. Be sure to join us again tomorrow to find out what project Janice created and to see the image you could win for participating!

Don't Forget...

Each day we feature a DT project, you will have the opportunity to complete a simple task in order to to win one of the images featured. Be sure to join us each day until December 20th to see what we have in store for you! While the last day of the event is December 20th, don't worry if you're too busy during this most festive time of year, you will have until January 14th, 2023, to complete all the tasks.

  1. I love tigers. They are big cats! Of course I feel fear when I see them, but they are adorable.
I also love snakes and sea turtles. I have seen a lot of snakes in the past and I do not feel fear for them. And I saw a big turtle two years ago while I was swimming, and I wanted to hug her. She was beautiful. My husband told me not to go near to the turtle because she is a wild animal. Only then I realized that I should not give her a hug! Ha ha! Yes, it is a true story. Kisses!!!

  3. Diane Louise's card is adorable! Rudolph is so much fun, and what a great sentiment/song! As for my favourite wild animal, I would have to say white-tailed deer. We have a doe and two fawns that visit our yard occasionally, and we enjoy seeing them very much. Sadly, they chewed up our tiny burning bushes so now we have placed protective chicken wire around them and they are growing. The deer don't seem to bother the rhododendrons, which is good. Great question, thank you!

  4. Eu amo raposas, e creio que não seja comum tê-las em casa.

  5. We have deer, fox and chipmunks in our backyard and you would think I live in the woods not on a busy street! I love the antics of the chipmunks best.

  6. I've always liked beavers and otters, and think they would be considered wild animals?

  7. My favourite wild animal is without a doubt a giraffe. I have been very fortunate to see them in the wild in South Africa and I totally cried with happiness. We also visited an animal sanctuary and this huge giraffe came right up to me and put his head on my shoulder. That was the most fantastic connection which was very overwhelming. They are such gentle creatures despite their size. I have fed a few with lettuce leaves and their tongues have so much dexterity which seems impossible for such a large animal.
