Monthly Scribblers Showcase for September

Hey folks. It is that time of month where we showcase the projects that our inspiration team has created, along with any extra creations our full time team members or guests may have had the chance to create during the past four weeks.

This time around, Janice and Diane Louise from our inspiration team both have projects to share with us. Take a look at what these ladies have been up to...

Have you been inspired to create?!
Don't forget to share your own Scribbles Designs creations with us
by linking them up in our Customer Gallery for your chance to win images.
You can find the page at the top of the blog or by clicking HERE.

If you enjoyed any of these projects, our designers would love a visit.
You can find each of their personal blogs by clicking on their respective header.

If you are interested in purchasing any of the images featured in today's post,
click on the names to find them in the store.

Well, that is it for this Extra Inspiration post. Hopefully I will also be popping in with the results of our Birthday Celebration before the end of the month if I can pull it off. Then, please join us again on October 1st when we'll be back with the midway of our current challenge. This time around the theme is, Anything Goes, so be sure to check it out if you haven't already. Click HERE for all the details!

Happy crafting until we meet again!

Winners!!! Challenge #110 - Make it Monochrome

Winners!!!

Challenge #110
 Make it Monochrome

Thank you to all those who entered
this particular challenge!!

Now that our Birthday Event is over, we can get on with the business of our winner announcement from the previous challenge. It is time to find out the names of our Top Scribbler and Top Three from our June/July challenge. We won't be having a Standout Scribbler this time around as only one entry used an image from Sandy. However, the individual that used an SD image will still have a chance to win some images in the future as she'll be added to a draw for those times when we didn't have three entries using an SD image.

We were pleased to see fifteen of you join in our last challenge. As always, the DT really enjoyed checking out all the incredible work that went into designing the projects entered.

An extra special thank you to the individual who used a Scribbles Designs image! It is always great to see entries with Sandy's images. Don't forget, if you enter using a Scribbles Designs image, you receive two entries per project and there are no limit to how many you can enter. Additionally, you also have the chance of being chosen as our Standout Scribbler (during those challenges when at least three entries use an SD image, or have your name added to a draw down the road when there are less than three). If you don't have any Scribbles Designs images you can always use one of the 250+ freebies available in the STORE.

Also, it is important to let us know that you've used one of Sandy's images by adding SD after your name when you enter. While I am able to catch them sometimes, I would hate to miss any.

Were you one of the lucky winners? Well it is time to find out…

Here we go!
(chosen randomly with miniwebtool.com)

Nicolette...   you have until November 14th, 2022, to claim your prize. Please go to the Scribbles Designs Store (categories listed in the sidebar and don't forget to scroll down and click on 'previous page' to see all the images within a section) and choose up to a value of $10 worth of digital images (digital papers are not included). Then, please send a message to 4scribblesdesigns@gmail.com with the subject heading, "SD Challenge #110 Winner", and let us know the NUMBER and NAME of your choices and Sandy will get your prize sent out to you as soon as she can.

9th Birthday Celebration--Puzzle #9

Hello everyone! The end of our birthday event is almost here! We started almost a full month ago on August 15th. On that day, we embarked on our month long birthday celebration by launching our regular monthly challenge. You still have two days to get a project entered. There are multiple prizes available this month (the total number will depend on the number of entries we get) so click HERE to check out all the details for our current challenge.

Then, later that same day we offered you an opportunity to complete a digital puzzle which you can find HERE. We released puzzle #2 on August 18th and you can find the link for that one HERE. Puzzle #3, released August 22, can be found HERE. Puzzle #4, released August 25, can be found HERE. Puzzle #5, released August 29, can be found HERE. Puzzle #6, released September 1st, can be found HERE. Puzzle #7, released September 5th, can be found HERE. Puzzle #8, released September 8th, can be found HERE.   Please note that while you are welcome to complete the puzzles for fun, the time has expired to get your entries in for Puzzles 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6, and you must get your entry for Puzzle #7 submitted by 11:59 EST (8:59 PST) tonight, in order to be eligible for that puzzle's prizes.

Today it is time to continue with Puzzle #9--our last puzzle of the event! If you are familiar with all the instructions, you can skip ahead down to the bottom of this post to work on Puzzle #9. If you haven't seen that first puzzle post, please read on for more details…

A total of NINE projects from our team--one puzzle for each year Scribbles Designs has been in business--have now been transformed into a puzzle and YOU will have to assemble today's puzzle and submit a picture of it via email (more details on that to follow) in order to have a chance to win the image used in the puzzle.

Prizes!!!

There will be a random draw from all the screen shots submitted for EACH completed puzzle. Winners will receive a copy of the main mandala/zentangle image used in each puzzle. That means there will a total of nine prizes available--one for each puzzle!

Additionally, at the end of the ninth competition, I will submit the names of those people who completed the puzzle with the fastest time for each puzzle round, and choose an additional winner to win a special prize!

How To Play:

  1. At the very bottom of this page you will find today's puzzle.
  2. You do have the option of changing the colour background if you want, by clicking the little colour palette icon (showcased in the bar in the centre of the screen before you start).
  3. I have disabled the option of changing the number of puzzle pieces in order to make it fair for everyone participating.
  4. You can rotate the puzzle pieces (circular arrow icon) but I wouldn't recommend it because it will change all the pieces and will change the orientation of the picture.
  5. Click 'OK' to start the puzzle. Click on the full screen icon (next to the question mark in the upper right corner) to make your puzzle bigger. Click Esc on your keyboard to bring it back to regular size.
  6. If you need help with the puzzle instructions, click the question mark (?) in the upper right corner at any time. You will know the puzzle has been completed properly when your timer stops and you see applause at the bottom of the screen, and then the credit line will appear.
  7. You should be able to complete each puzzle in approx. 10 to 15 minutes (possibly less, possibly more, depending on your own unique speed). If you need to pause the puzzle for any reason, simply click the timer up in the right hand corner (to the left of the full screen mode button). A white pop up window will come up and the puzzle itself will be blacked out to prevent cheating while in pause mode. Then, click 'resume' to continue when you are ready.
  8. If you need a hint for today's puzzle, be sure to head on over to Nick's blog. Her card is a blast from the past, and you can find it HERE.
  9. Once you have completed the puzzle correctly, take a screen shot of it using the print screen feature of your keyboard OR using the Snipping Tool under Windows Accessories or the Snip & Sketch app listed under 'S' in the apps list (tools will probably depend on which version of Windows you have--I have Windows 10). Sorry, I'm not sure what tools are available if you are using an Apple product or your phone or tablet, though most phones and tablets have some sort of screen capture tool. I suppose if it comes to it, you could always snap a pic of your computer screen with your phone or tablet. I tried doing that myself with my tablet and the picture turned out fine. IMPORTANT: If you want a chance to win the bonus prize available, make sure that your picture encompasses the full puzzle, including the timer at the top. Please refer to Instructions and Deadline for Sending Completed Puzzle image, found below.
  10. If you have any problems or questions, leave a comment and I will try and help you out when I get on-line for the day.

Instructions and Deadline for

Please send a message to Lisa at decossesdynamitedoodles [at] yahoo [dot] ca (don't forget to replace 'at' and 'dot' with the appropriate symbols), with the subject heading, "SD Birthday 2022-Puzzle #9". Be sure to attach a copy of the image of your completed puzzle showing the time in which you finished it. Below is an example of what the image should encompass (though obviously it will have a different completed puzzle).

In order to qualify for the draw, all images for PUZZLE #9 must be received in my email account by 11:59 p.m. Eastern Daylight Savings Time, SEPTEMBER 19, 2022. Time to Play!
