Scribbles Designs will be taking a little break...

Hello folks. I know our regulars were expecting to see a new challenge posted today. In fact, today was supposed to mark the start of a five day special event in honour of the Christmas holidays.

Unfortunately, I have been dealing with some tough issues in real life. Both my parents were hospitalized after being diagnosed with Covid during the last week and a half. Worrying about them and having to check in on them via phone (since we live almost an eight hour drive away) leaves time for little else. My stress levels and inability to concentrate are affecting the quality of my work so it is just best that I take a little break from taking care of the challenge blog for the next couple of challenges. If I am able to though, I'll do my best to at least publish the winner announcement from our last challenge before we return in the new year. I'll also be popping in with a freebie for Christmas.

And don't worry, we'll be back in February with new challenges for you all to play in. I hope that you'll all come back and join us when we start up again in the New Year!

For now, Sandy, the team, and I, all wish you the very best of the holiday season!

Happy crafting until we meet again!

  5. Lisa, I am so sorry to hear about the family health issues. I'll be praying for your parents health... and your mental health. When a loved one is struggling, it is hard not to get run down. So please try to also take care of yourself. And take the time you need. We'll be here when you return! You are loved.
