Winners!!!

Challenge #73
It's Birthday Time Again
+ All Other Birthday
Related Events!

Thank you to everyone who joined us during all the events of our 6th Birthday!!

My goodness, time flies quickly. I can't believe that it is already the end of April! The sad thing is that I actually started this post in March! However, given the length of this post, I'm sure you can understand why it took so long!!! Thus, it is high time that we announce the winners from our It's Birthday Time Again challenge plus all our other birthday related events. It was a busy month and a bit, filled with lots of chances to win some extra prizes, so let's get on with the results shall we?!

We had a total of 27 people join us for our challenge, so we'll start with the winners from that event first. Don't forget that we've made some changes for this year. While we will still have a Top Scribbler and a Top Three for each challenge, we no longer have a Gold Star. Instead, we now have a Standout Scribbler award.

Each challenge, one member of the Design Team will choose their favourite project featuring a Scribbles Designs (SD) image to determine who the Standout Scribbler for that challenge will be. Participants chosen as a Standout Scribbler will receive $5.00 worth of images from the store (digital papers not included). If no entries use an SD image during a challenge, there will be no Standout Scribbler chosen for that particular challenge.

We have also created a special page on our blog entitled, Standout Scribblers Wall of Fame. This is a place where we will be showcasing all our Standout Scribblers. At the end of our 12th challenge of the year (Jan. 14th, 2020), any project featured on our Wall of Fame will have the opportunity to be chosen as the 2019 Standout Scribbler and will receive $10.00 worth of images from the store. So, now it is time to find out who our first Standout Scribbler is, along with finding out who else is in our top spots.

Were you one of the lucky winners? Well it is time to find out…

Here we go!
(chosen randomly with miniwebtool.com)

(honourable mention--a project or card featuring a Scribbles Designs image as the focus)

Since this is our first time in this category, I (Lisa) am going
to choose the Standout Scribbler and my choice is…

I chose Deanne's card for the following reasons:
Not only is Hedgie holding a heart, he has stolen my heart in this sweet card! I love that he takes centre stage. The glittery heart and the glossy eyes are the perfect finishing touches!

Deanne's card will be added to our Standout Scribbler Wall of Fame very soon!

The next event of our birthday celebration was a Treasure Hunt. In order to earn one of Sandy's classic images, participants were asked to head to the store and look for a special treasure chest image hidden in one of the posts, then come back and leave a comment letting us know where they found it.

All of the people who participated, correctly found the image. So, congrats to:

The FINAL event of our birthday party was the most difficult. We created a Puzzle based on one of  Nick's cards that had a total of SEVEN Scribbles Designs images in it. Participants were asked figure out the puzzle and determine ANY THREE of the seven images used in the card which happened to be:
We had a total of five people participate in our puzzle challenge. Now all of these participants listed images that were actually part of the Penguin Party Boys set as some of their individual images but since we actually sell them separately in the store, I did accept the choices. So that means, congratulations to:
  • AJ (ArtJypsy)
  • Mies (mcs)
  • Donna R.
  • Denise Bryant
Since all four of you correctly fulfilled the conditions of the challenge, you will receive ONE image of your choice from the #256 Penguin Party Boys set. To claim your prize, please send a message to Lisa at decossesdynamitedoodles [at] yahoo [dot] ca (don't forget to replace 'at' and 'dot' with the appropriate symbols), with the subject heading, "SD Birthday-Puzzle Winner", and let me know the NAME of the ONE image or sentiment that you'd like from the set.

You can choose from the following three images:
Brrrnard Party Hat
Brrrad Pirate Hat
Brrryce Party Hat WM
Or, you can choose from the following five sentiments:

Now you may have noticed that I said there were five winners but I've only listed four names above. That is because one lucky individual had their name thrown into a draw for the entire set (worth $11.00). So, congrats to:
  • Margreet
