Scribbles Designs Challenge #40 A Little Note to BUG You

Scribbles Designs Challenge #40
A Little Note to BUG You

May flies, mosquitoes, and moths oh my!  The dreaded invasion of bugville will soon be upon us after their deep sleep during the winter months (well up here where some of us live anyway).   As the inevitable onslaught begins, we thought that this would be a good month to create a project featuring an insect of some sort.  Butterflies, bees and ants all come to mind but the choice is up to you.  However, please note that only cute bugs should apply--no creepy crawlers allowed!

And we thank you for spending some time here on our spot in blog-land. We're excited to showcase our talented women & their incredible creative work.  We think that you will enjoy the Scribbles Designs images
and the creative direction that ensues.

  1. OK, so I'm really trying to figure out if snails fit into the 'insect' category! They certainly qualify as May critters that "bug" me as they invade my garden after hibernating all winter. :-D If they don't fit the theme, please remove my entry (#1.) Thanks. BTW, if they aren't "bugs," can anyone tell me what they are?

  3. Hey NanaConnie,

Actually a snail is a mollusk. Now what is a mollusk you ask? Well it is any of a selection of invertebrate animals (others include clams, or squids) with a soft unsegmented body normally enclosed in a calcareous shell.

However, as far as I am concerned, we can allow snails to go through for this challenge. They crawl outside like other bugs and they're cute for the most part so we'll accept them!
