Guest Scribblers Spotlight

Hello to you all on this wonderful Saturday!  It is Lisa D. here and I am popping in to tell you all about a new feature that we are adding to the Scribbles Designs Challenge blog.  In an effort to bring you some additional awesomeness each month, we've decided to bring in some Guest Scribblers!

Each Guest Scribbler will be playing with us for a total of three months.  Now generally you will get to see their scribbly inspirations on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month although it is possible that I may pop in on an alternate Saturday now and then if they have any extra work they'd like to share.  However, this month we're getting a bit of a late start so we'll be posting today, which is the 3rd Saturday of the month, and then again on Jan. 30th, which is the 5th Saturday.

So who are our first Guest Scribblers?  Well, from January to March they just happen to be...

Gail, from I Like Paper

AND

Pat, from Patacake Pages

I hope that you will join me in welcoming these two awesome ladies as
our first Guest Scribblers for 2016!

Check out the wonderful cards they created for their first spotlight...

Scribbles Designs Challenge #37 Have A Heart

Scribbles Designs Challenge #37
Have A Heart

Do any of you remember the old song by Eddie Fisher called 'Heart'?  Of course, I personally wasn't around in 1955 when it came out but I definitely remember it on the airwaves, especially during the old Saturday night radio shows in the 80s that focused on music from the 50s and 60s.  The first two lines of the song which are repeated often throughout, are:

"You've gotta have heart, All you really need is heart"

Well, with Valentine's Day around the corner, we thought that this challenge would be the perfect occasion to create a project with a heart or hearts featured in a prominent way.  The heart could be the whole image itself, or just part of it, part of the papers you use or they could show up in your embellishments.  "You've gotta have heart, All you really need is heart!"  We look forward to seeing what form yours takes!

And we thank you for spending some time here on our spot in blog-land. We're excited to showcase our talented women & their incredible creative work.  We think that you will enjoy the Scribbles Designs images
and the creative direction that ensues.

Any questions about the challenge? Please read our Challenge Rules located in the right sidebar.

    Scribbles Designs Challenge #36 BINGO

    Scribbles Designs Challenge #36
    BINGO

Did you play BINGO as a child?  Maybe you still do.  The fun thing about BINGO is that you can adapt it to play in different ways.  For example, the game can be adapted for coming up with different ideas to add to your card or project.  If you haven't played a BINGO challenge before it is a pretty easy concept to follow.  Simply create a card or other kind of project using any 5  items listed below in a row--across, down or diagonally, it is up to you.  For example, you might choose to work with the items in the second row down--glitter, pearls, patterned paper, a sentiment and the colour red.  Or maybe you'll choose to use all the items in the last row down under the 'O"--No patterned paper, red, washi tape, blue and some gems.  Whichever row you chose, just please be sure to mention in your post the items you have chosen to use.  We look forward to seeing the different combinations, you all come up with!

And we thank you for spending some time here on our spot in blog-land. We're excited to showcase our talented women & their incredible creative work.  We think that you will enjoy the Scribbles Designs images
and the creative direction that ensues.
