Oh dear. I'm getting rather behind in the winner announcements again, aren't I?! Well at least I found time today to get to one of them. It is time to find out the names of our Top Scribbler, Top Three and Standout Scribbler for Challenge #112. We were pleased to see several of you join in this particular challenge. As always, the DT really enjoyed checking out all the incredible work that went into designing the projects entered.

An extra special thank you to the individuals who used a Scribbles Designs image! It is always great to see entries with Sandy's images. We had a record eight entries using an SD image! Don't forget, if you enter using a Scribbles Designs image, you receive two entries per project and there are no limit to how many you can enter. Additionally, you also have the chance of being chosen as our Standout Scribbler (during those challenges when at least three entries use an SD image, or have your name added to a draw down the road when there are less than three). If you don't have any Scribbles Designs images you can always use one of the 250+ freebies available in the STORE.

Hello everyone! Welcome to the Scribbles Designs Challenge blog. Whether you are new or one of our regulars, we are so thankful that you are here with us on our little spot in blogland. It is the 15th of the month and that means it is time for our next challenge to get started! 

 

The very first Scribbles Designs Challenge started on January 15, 2013. That means that as of today, we are officially 10 years old!!! As we countdown to our birthday celebration in August, we thought it would be nice to allow each of our current team members to choose their favourite theme. As we are going in order of when each person joined the team, Sandy, the original creator and owner of the Scribbles Designs concept, is making the first choice. 

 

Brrr (who is a penguin if you aren't aware) was Sandy's first main character. Thus, it is fitting that her choice for her favourite theme revolves around penguins. As such, our theme for this challenge is Penguin Pals and here is what you need to know to join us...

Our incredibly talented women are here to share their inspiring creative work featuring projects related to our Penguin Pals theme. We hope that you will enjoy the Scribbles Designs images and the creative direction that ensues.

Cheers to the New Year + A Flash Freebie

Happy New Year Everyone!!! It is a brand new year and a new opportunity to learn, grow, prosper, and of course, dream! These past few years have been somewhat rough on folks throughout the world. While we can hope that 2023 will be a much better, maybe more importantly, we should hope for the strength to get through any challenges we may face in these next 12 months!

 

I have created a flash freebie to help you usher in the new year in a crafty way. It is in honour of the Chinese New Year which happens to be the Year of the Rabbit for 2023. I have created four different variations, available in two formats: 

• Two with bunny tail--one with the text 'year of' added and the other with no additional text.
• Two with bunny ears--one with the text 'year of' added and the other with no additional text.
  

We hope that you will make some 'Happy New Year' cards with one of these images and help get someone's New Year off to a great start; or, maybe you have some friends or family out there that are real bunny lovers! Whichever is the case, we hope that you can make use of one of these images. Check them out...
