Now that our huge Christmas and Birthday events are over, I can continue catching up with all the winner announcements that I am sadly behind in.

Just like the last couple of winner announcements, this is how it is going to work. First I'll present the names of our Top Scribbler, Top Three and Gold Star recipient for Challenge #69 and then I will move on to #70. Hopefully it will be clear enough and there won't be any confusion. So, starting with #69 which was our Pick a Patterned Paper challenge, we were happy to see 18 entries. Unfortunately though, seven of those entries did not qualify. I guess people just read the theme title but didn't check to read that only five different types of patterns qualified: dots, stripes, plaids, chevrons, or diamonds.

As always, our DT really enjoyed checking out all the incredible work that went into designing the projects. Were you one of the lucky winners? Well it is time to find out…

The Celebration Isn't Over Quite Yet!

Hey folks! I've started to feel a little better so I figured it was time for us to finish up our birthday event. I promised you all one more event and while I was sick and couldn't get it finished by Feb. 14th, that didn't mean I was going to break my promise.

Today you are going to have the opportunity to earn a final birthday related treat but I'll warn you now…this one is going to take a little effort.

Below you will find a card created by Nick, one of our awesome Design Team Members, that has not one...not two or even three...but a total of SEVEN Scribbles Designs images in it. Your job is to figure out and let me know ANY THREE of the seven images used in the card. Of course, it isn't going to be all that easy as I have made it into a puzzle that you will need to put together. Hee, hee, hee…

 

As you can see, the centre area gives you the outline for the card and the pieces have been lined up around the sides and bottom. I have even left in a couple pieces for you. Unfortunately though, those will be your only clues. I did say it wasn't going to be easy, didn't I? Think of it as brain training the Scribbles Designs way.  Now some of you may be able to figure it out without printing it out, cutting the pieces out and trying to piece it together but I imagine that the majority of you will need to get creative and put it together just like a puzzle to see what images are really there. However you go about trying to determine the images, good luck! The image above is saved as a jpg so if you click on it you can save it to your computer and then print it out, cut the pieces out and try to put it together.

Once you have an idea of the images you are looking for, you will need to head on over to the Scribbles Designs Store by clicking HERE and then locate the NAME, NUMBER and URL of ANY THREE of the images used in Nick's card. Once you figure it out. come back over and leave a comment on this post. I'll leave comment moderation on to make it fair for everyone.

INCENTIVE?!

I know, you are thinking I'm crazy if anyone is going to go to the effort of completing this task but there are a few of you out there that I think will rise to the challenge. Of course, we are providing some incentive for doing so.

EVERYONE who correctly fulfils the conditions of this challenge (as set above) will receive ONE image of their choice from a specific set in the store that shall remain nameless at this time. One lucky individual will have their name thrown into a draw for the entire set. While I can't tell you its name right now, I can tell you that it is worth $11.00. 

So, why not take some time to give your brain a workout AND increase your collection of Scribbles Designs images at the same time?!  Remember, when you have the answers, pop back over and leave your guess in a comment on this post. You have until Tuesday, February 26th at 8:59 p.m. PST (11:59 p.m. EST), to submit your guesses. Winners' names will be posted when we do the winner announcement for the entire Birthday Event.

Hello everyone! Welcome to the Scribbles Designs Challenge blog. Whether you are new or one of our regulars, we are so thankful that you are here with us on our little spot in blogland. It is the 15th of the month and that means it is time for our next challenge to get started! Our theme this month is Three or More Layers and here is what you need to know to join us...

*Create a project that has AT LEAST THREE layers*

This month's prizes...

Don't forget that we have made some changes to our prizes for 2019. Starting in January, prizes will now include the following:

• $10 worth of digi images from the store for a random winner who uses any kind of image--that person will be called our Top Scribbler. 
• $3 worth of digi images from the store for each of the Top Three (chosen by Design Team).
• $5.00 worth of digi images from the store for a person chosen as our Standout Scribbler. In order to qualify for this prize, you will need to use a Scribblers Designs image on your project. Individuals chosen as a Standout Scribbler will have their project added to a new special page on the blog called, "STANDOUT SCRIBBLERS WALL OF FAME!". If no entries use an SD image during a challenge, there will be no Standout Scribbler chosen for that particular challenge. At the end of our 12th challenge of the year (finishing up Jan. 14th, 2020), any project featured on our Wall of Fame will have the opportunity to be chosen as the 2019 Standout Scribbler and will receive $10.00 worth of images from the store (digital papers not included). Each challenge, on a rotating basis one member of the Design Team will choose their favourite project featuring an Scribbles Designs image, in order to determine who the Standout Scribbler for that challenge will be.

This challenge will end on March 14th at 8:59 p.m. PST. The list of winners will be published in a separate post. Winners will get to choose their images from those in the store. Be sure to check for the winner announcement if you have entered this challenge. And yes, I know I am seriously behind in winner announcements again. I'll do my best to get caught up as soon as I can possibly manage.

Birthday Celebration Extended

 

Soooooooo.....it is the 14th of February today. Happy Valentine's Day by the way but that is not why I'm popping in.

In the last post (our time limited freebie that actually ended up being offered for an additional four days), I mentioned that there would be one more surprise coming. Technically, our celebration was planned to be completed by end of today, before our new challenge starts tomorrow.

Unfortunately, I ended up getting really sick on Saturday and have been only functioning on minimal power all week. Since I promised there would be one more birthday event, I can't exactly go back on my word. However, at the same time, I'm not exactly firing on all cylinders and there is no way I can do it right now or even in the next couple of days.

So here is what will happen. We'll be going forth with our newest challenge tomorrow as planned BUT we'll also be extending our birthday celebration. There will definitely be one more event and I'll post it as soon as I am able to.
