It is that time of month where we showcase the projects that our inspiration team (right now a team of one but hopefully that number will increase) has created, along with any extra creations our full time team members may have had the chance to design during the past four weeks.

Before we continue, Carl, who gave his input for choosing the Top Three and Gold Star this time around, wanted me to let you all know just how impressed he was with your 'green' creations. He has requested that I type for him as it is difficult to type well with webbed toes. He loved all of the entries but he was most impressed with the fact that he himself features in one of the cards and his cousin, Carl O'Brian, features in another! However, don't worry, it may seem a little biased that Carl was a judge and it just happens that two of the top three cards feature frogs, but we promise you, he didn't rig the system, all voting was fair and strictly monitored.

Hello everyone! Welcome to the Scribbles Designs Challenge blog. Whether you are new or one of our regulars, we are so thankful that you are here with us on our little spot in blogland. It is the 15th of the month and that means it is time for our next challenge to get started!

Our theme this month is Favouring the Feminine and here is what you need to know to join us...

What comes to mind when you hear the word "feminine"? Do you associate certain colours with femininity or is it more about a set of qualities or specific materials? Whatever criteria you use, it is time to honour the women in your life by coming up with a project that has a feminine touch. It is the perfect opportunity to break out all your pretty papers and colours, delve into your stash of lace and ribbons, locate a doily or two, or maybe even find some lovely floral elements.

Whether you create a card for Mother's Day which is right around the corner in North America and many other countries around the world, design a pretty birthday card for a special female in your life,  decide to prepare a project for a close female friend, or simply want to help empower a dear woman you know, it is a great time to be focusing on the feminine. Whomever you decide to create for and whatever you plan to do, it is time to reach inside and find your inner 'girly girl' and bring a feminine touch to your creation.

Our incredibly talented women are here to share their inspiring creative work featuring projects related to our Favouring the Feminine theme. We hope that you will enjoy the Scribbles Designs images and the creative direction that ensues.

Hello everyone! For those of you who celebrate, from all of us here at Scribbles Designs, we wish you a very Happy Easter Weekend!

Today we have reached the midway point of our current challenge. Here is a refresher of what the theme is all about:

All bunnies everywhere are hopping in anticipation! Spring arrived on March 20th and today it is  Easter. Whether you observe Easter as a family day, in its connection to the Spring Equinox, or as part of the Christian faith, bunnies are adorable and the perfect ambassador for these celebrations. The rabbit is often associated with spring due to its high reproduction rate, and with both spring and Easter due to its symbolic connection to new life and rebirth--big themes for both these occasions.  The eggs that the Easter Bunny delivers are an ancient symbol of fertility and for Christians, Easter Eggs represent the resurrection of Jesus. 

Therefore, in honour of the beguiling Easter Bunny who will be hopping into many homes on this glorious Easter Sunday, we want your project to have at least one bunny as its focal point. Both Hoppy and B Bunny will be guest judges for this challenge so hop to it and make them proud!

There are still two weeks left in the challenge and we hope that you will be able to join us here on our spot in blog-land. We have had just six entries so far this month so we'd really love to see some more of you join in! With Easter being celebrated this month, along with the return of spring, I'm surprised that more people haven't found their way to our challenge.
