Final Guest Scribblers Spotlight for the 1st Quarter of 2017!

I have some serious apologizing to do to our first quarter guests, Pippa and Berni. Last Saturday marked the fourth Saturday of March, which should have been the final Guest Scribblers Spotlight for this first quarter of 2017. Unfortunately, I was so incredibly sick last week and there was absolutely no way I was able to get the post out on time. I'm still weak and recovering little by little but am finally well enough to at least get this post done.

We were very blessed to have both Pippa and Berni join us for the first three months of this year and I just want to say a special thank you for all their hard work and commitment. Later in April we have two brand new guests coming on to inspire you. First though, let's bid a final farewell to Pippa and Berni! Check out their fabulous designs...

Hello everyone! Welcome to the Scribbles Designs Challenge blog. Whether you are new or one of our regulars, we are so thankful that you are here with us on our little spot in blogland. It is the 15th of the month and that means it is time for our next challenge to get started! Our theme this month is Birds of a Feather and here is what you need to know to join us...

Birds that nest in the Northern Hemisphere tend to migrate northward in the spring to take advantage of burgeoning insect populations, budding plants and an abundance of nesting locations available. Soon we'll be experiencing that migration back home. Hearing birdsong is always a sure sign that winter is almost done.

So, since spring is almost upon us, we thought this month would be the perfect time to include a bird image as the focal point of your project. Whether you choose to use a songbird, a wading bird, a hunting bird, a chicken or even a duck--it is totally up to you. As long as it has feathers and wings, it doesn't matter which type of bird you choose. Help us to usher in spring with a flock of beautiful bird creations!

Our incredibly talented women are here to share their inspiring creative work featuring projects related to our Birds of a Feather theme. We hope that you will enjoy the Scribbles Designs images and the creative direction that ensues.

Hello and welcome to the midway point of our current challenge. Here is a refresher of what the theme is all about:

I don't know about where you live, but boy, it is definitely cold where I am. Brrrrrr. Actually, a great deal of Canada, many of the States and other locales in the world are deep in the throes of winter at this point. Whether you love it or hate it, for many of us, there is no escaping the effects of the season--unless of course you decide to head to Australia, New Zealand, Africa or another place basking in the hot sun, just for a bit of a change!

To honour the brisk weather we are experiencing, it is time to create a project suitable for the winter season. So, this month, show us a project featuring snow and other winter related images as the main theme. To help you get through the next month or two just remember that five months from now you'll be wishing for this weather. 

There are still two weeks left in the challenge and we hope that you will be able to join us here on our spot in blog-land. We have had just seven entries so far this month so we'd really love to see some more of you join in!
